real quick

Just like the title, this will be a really short blog post about what photoshop has done for my university's AWESOME Orientation Week (a blog post about that will appear after this - I'm waiting for pictures).

Warning: this blog will not make sense to those of you who does not understand the Orientation Week - you'll have to see the next blog first before comprehending this LOL

The first one is the logo for our product in the Selling Game:

The second one is for water bottles. We got to re-brand them:

the final touch

I finally added the finishing touch! I did the photos in sort of like a sequence mode to get the dramatic effect.

I know that it's just my name but that actually completes the whole thing. What whole thing? Don't tell me you forgot about my 4 months (well, 1, actually) project!
THIS ONE.

I will miss it. BADLY.
Yes, I do need the capitals. And the italic and bold font.

It started with 2, right?

That was a question from my friend. Let’s repeat that again to emphasize it.

How are there so many different skin colors when it all started with 2 people?

Good question. I thought hard about it. So, yes. Adam and Eve. They had like, what, 6 billion kids who marry each other. So we have a worldwide freaking incest. Ah, beautiful. We are all family even though I don’t speak Inuit or look like a Brazilian.

Back to the question. I came up with two different thoughts:

  1. Since Adam and Eve had so many children, I figured that they all would have totally different lifestyles and of course, that contributed to the genes that causes skin color to change…in theory. Some kind of mutation but not as badass as X-Men. And then they fall in love with each other, blah, blah and blah, and different kinds of people appear. Supported with the building of the huge-and-tall-tower (of which I forgot the name) and with God making chaos on the language…blah, blah, and blah, different countries, different types of people, and then comes the Nazi’s and basically, etc.
  2. God was just having fun in experimenting with us which was all in his plan.

Well, Jay said that, “I mean, they can’t make 10 totally different looking kids can they? They must be talented!”

I LOL-ed. No offense. But really, they got to be real talented. Maybe if Darwin’s evolution theory was right then we can relate that to the difference of skin colors. Just telling you guys, I’m not racist. I see people as who they are – their personality.

It’s sad when you see someone judging another human being because of their looks, don’t you think?

English class

I was completely bored in English class a long time ago (Maybe not that long ago, probably around 4 months ago). We were supposed to be studying about bibliography and footnotes. I simply plugged in my iPod and ignored the teacher. And also, I came up with these. I didn't even remember that I had this!

Nosaund Atall – “Dead Silence”
New York: Frightful Inc. 1991
o Urban Legends by Scarewhit (1861)

Sucha Lus. R. – “Sunset”
Forks: Shameless Copy 2006
o Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (2004)
“Eduardo stared at Birch hungrily[1] with his black eyes.”

[1] Actually, at the pizza in her hand. He had not eaten anything in the morning.

Nott Aluck – “Trial and Error”
Berlin: Neva Wright co. 1899
o Pure mathematics 2 & 3 by Hugh Neill and Douglas Quadling (1799)
“He struggled with the math in front of his eyes. His brain clicked at the same time he almost folded his cards.”

July's random photos

So I was in Surabaya for about 5 days to arrange things for my uni and I took pictures with my phone. I forgot my camera, and well, LOL the pictures aren't connected with anything at all. Just felt like taking them :)

A piece of broken glass.

A freakin' huge clock. I actually want that on my wall.

A shoe made out of chocolate!

I realize that there really is no point in taking these pictures, let alone sharing them but whatever - they're interesting.

June rant

God, I know I haven't posted anything in ages. Don't blame me, but blame my internet connection. Anyways, a lot of things happened this month. First up, is the graduation ceremony. It's official! I'm out of high school! LOL all the pictures are crappy, so I'm posting the one where you can't see anything.

And then the yearbook showed up and well yeah, our class page was designed by me. The theme was: vintage. We specifically did a photo shoot also for this too.

The first page.

The pictures were taken on the roof, right outside the art room.

The second page.

We went to this bowling place and had the photo shoot there. My friends picked out their own candids (except for those who couldn't make the photo shoot) and everything turned out fine. I'm pleased with this.

And then there was prom. I'm on the right side. The one on the left is E and yeah... I didn't actually ask permission from her to use this picture but I think she'll be okay with that.

That was like the last time all of us got together. Two days ago, Jay got on the plane and flew to America for uni and I think that one of my best friends would leave also, only this time to Australia. We were like, oh my God, we don't know anybody out there.

But well, time moves on.

Look, even Bill is smiling. Chus for now leute.

I've been wanting to post this for a while but YouTube was acting up.
Last words: whoever made this, is a genius.

L'uomo Vogue magazine

I bet there would be pictures of Georg without his shirt on.
I bet that the sale of the magazine would double, no, triple in a short time.

Won't say anything much.
Boredom + brain-stuck-on-school-essay = this.

Girlfriend magazine + dream

Who doesn't know about this magazine? Raise of hands?
Anyway, I bought the May issue of the Indonesian edition and when browsing through it, I saw an artwork from one of the readers. It features a made-up cover of the magazine. I thought, hey, why don't I try and make that? So I did.

For Indonesian Tokio Hotel fans, it seems like that their management haven't heard of Indonesia. I sent the design to the official email of the magazine and - fingers crossed - they would consider Bill to be on the cover of the next edition. Then maybe TH's management would look up the map, point to Indonesia, and go, "WE HAVEN'T BEEN HERE!"

little garden

My sister bought this ceramic ornament - I think it's a place for her to put pencils and pens and stuff...damn, I'm having a brain overload, I can't remember what it's called... Anyway, it has this really boring color. Gold, beige, blue, pink, purple... It's supposed to be a garden I think but, come on, really?!

It's so...dull. I took the liberty of tweaking it a bit. Result:

Now, it's a garden.

20 minutes of vandalising

My extra Lit class had just finished and I was bored while waiting for my sister. My friend was busy with her Chemistry stuff and I just had to do something.
Paper? Boring.
Wooden locker door? Interesting place.
Ta-da.

I might get detention though. Oh well.

farewell rant

People have various things that they held on to. Kids held on to their blankets because they are reminded of home. Parents held on to pictures, for they are printed memories. Others could cling on to drugs, or like a ring, or like - GEEZ - whatever thing that reminds them of SOMETHING.

Or because that one thing just holds their life.
Oooh, what am I aiming at?
That's right. I lost the tiny thing that defines my life: my USB. My freakin' Kingston USB.
Oooh, I am so lame.
Whatever.
That USB is filled with lots of my most important things:
  1. Pictures (recent pictures of friends, precious memories, banners, MY ART)
  2. Photoshop trials (the hours I spent tweaking them, the hours I spent on studying on how to get the perfect hue or shadow, the hours I spent on various little projects which grew big, also for MY ART)
  3. Yearbook designs (three of them, a total of about 5 hours? and the deadline to give them in is Friday)
  4. Stories (ah, yes, this one is the second most crucial because even though I can get the copy from the website in which I posted them, one story, my last one, my FINAL ONE, which has reached chapter 4, written in such detail that I have to say that it looks like a movie, is now gone)
  5. Art (the interview, both the written one and the audio - gone - the essay which had reached around 2500 words - gone - the designs I made for the final for 1st June - GONE - my effort - gone)
Needless to say, I raced back like a maniac through the road to get to school (6 pm, and my school at that time is creepy as fuck). I ran up the stairs to get to the place where I most likely lost my USB. I looked everywhere. It's not there. I hope that one of the helpers retrieved it and kept it and when I questioned it tomorrow morning, she would have it. Tonight, I will gorge myself on Ritter Sport Whole Almonds chocolate and on some red Hatten.

Cheers.

dolls

I used to hate dolls. They scare the crap out of me. Okay, I still don't like them very much now. I don't understand people who said that they are cute. When I see them - especially the baby ones, or the ones that can blink, or the ones that can TALK - I usually turn around and run away from the area. I used to have dreams where they come alive and start to attack you. Yes, I watched Chucky 1, 2, and 3.

But these dolls? U-noa dolls? I want them bad. They are still creepy in a way, but, again, I want them bad.

Hmm...most of them are girls. It's rather hard to find a male U-noa dolls. I have some pictures of the male ones, and I think they are the most gorgeous ones: Tokio Hotel.

Prices are unbelievably high though. I better start saving. *rushes off*

the school's jacket

It seems like the first designs I made was for the school...
The logo one was for the school's jacket - specially made for the grade 10s, 11s and 12s.

This is how it looked like after it was done. LOL the other grades got jealous.

nice ideas to steal

Just let me tell you something.
I WILL NOT STEAL THE IDEAS. Maybe tweak them a little :)
These stuff just inspires me and hey, credits to those who thought of it. It's really amazing!

I've always wanted to try make something like this. I worry about the dust that might settle inside it though.

I WANT THIS BOOK. Yes, capital letters needed.

Meat box...I'm rather sad to eat the meat inside. I'm imagining that Bill Kaulitz would say, "You kill animals!" But then again, Gustav Schäfer would say, "I don't kill them, I eat them."
...
I'll go with Gustav.

Love this also: color and design.

Okay, how do they manufacture this again?

HOLY SHIT.

The title is the only thing I could pretty much say at this point. Thank you xxxx for telling me about this in my previous blog post! Thank you so much! You have no idea how hyped I am right now! I have no idea what they are saying, but whatever! MY FREAKIN' MURAL WAS ON TV! *faints*

Okay now I have the full idea as to what they are talking about. Again, thank you to xxxx! This time for the translation.

Titi: Acesso is back on this Friday! And You Tokio Hotel fans envy, envy this school in Indonesia that had the genial idea.

Marimoon: Look how cool it is! They took an entire wall and decorated it, with…you know what? A drawing of Bill Kaulitz! Look how cool it got! Amazing! It’s not just a drawing; it’s a mega modern design, super cool! Very cool! Very modern! It’s like a design class, really!

Titi: We really tried, but I didn’t found out who had this idea. It’s obvious that was students’ idea, and the teachers and the principal must have said it was great doing this!

Marimoon: Maybe the school’s principal is a Tokio Hotel fan, (he may have said) “guys I’m a Tokio Hotel fan, let’s decorate the entire school”

Titi: Yeah! It turned out very good! It looks like an art gallery!

Marimoon: That’s what I’m saying, it very well designed, it’s very good! When I first looked at the news, I was like maybe it’s a very bad drawing, (Bill) has an eye is bigger than other, the nose is weird, and maybe you say it could be Bill Kaulitz.

Titi: But it’s really him! And there’s something written here (points with a finger)

Marimoon: It’s very good!!! Congratulations!! (Clapping) Get jealous, jealous!

Titi: Get jealous!

--- TALKING ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE---

Marimoon: And now we are going to watch (for the first time on MTV)…

Titi: You guys asked us so much on Twitter…Hurricanes and Suns

----VIDEO----

Marimoon: Here’s our Easter gift for the Tokio Hotel fans, Hurricanes and Suns

Titi: He has this beautiful face to stamp on the wall in a Indonesian school ! You can see how Tokio Hotel it’s a worldwide phenomenon...In Indonesia!
Marimoon: What are you thinking guys? (She means that something is very good)

I really can't thank xxxx enough <3

Everybody is going their separate ways for uni and my best friend wants a piece of memoir from me. Well, Jay will get it. It's still a work in progress, but I think she will like it.

school's wall

The guys from THO already knew about this when it was in the unfinished state. I finally added the finishing touches and after signing my name on the wall, I just have to share it.
The space I was working on was around a staircase which lead up to the roof and the small building on top of it which was the art room. Now, the walls had an awful yellow color, screamed out gloom and despair, and when I told my teacher that I wanted to vandalize some random wall, he told me to just make the installation around the staircase. "Plus, you have minimum chance of getting caught by the police."

Before:

And the process:

And thus, the final:

This four months project - idea, first sketches, and painting it - drains me physically. But it's worth it. I mean, now I have Bill Kaulitz's face on the wall! Who is basically the hottest man on Earth! And nobody stopped me!
